For 20 years, Johanni Curtet has been practicing and studying khoomii - Mongolian overtone singing - experimenting it through various creations. Several records of his production have been released by Buda musique: Tserendavaa & Tsogtgerel (2008), An Anthology of Mongolian Khoomii (2017), Khusugtun (2020), Batsukh Dorj (2023), as well as creations of his trio Meikhaneh.

A veteran of the great Malian orchestra, the Super Biton de S?gou, Mama Sissoko is a rare musician. With his feverish voice, fast tempo and thoughtful lyrics, his alert, attentive music traverses Mandingo, Bambara, and other traditions, while flirting with jazz. Live' was recorded at a concert in Paris at La Villette in 1998.
