Dell'Olivo, Giovanni - Venetiko Rebetiko CD

Giovanni Dell'Olivo's translation and re-elaboration work on some pieces of that peculiar Greek musical movement, which arose at the beginning of the 20th century and was called Rebetiko. The 'translations of the sea' are thus understood in the double sense of ideal paths connecting two places connected by waterways, and of songs translated (freely) from Greek into Italian and/or Venetian dialect.
