Once again, the Samnite trio engages with tradition, but with a renewed guiding principle: when tradition is not

rewritten, it is destined to be lost. The core lies in the motto betray tradition to keep it alive. Their highly

localised, dialect-based yet unclassifiable musical exploration confirms that one can be radically rooted in a

specific place without becoming provincial.
