NEHA! SVETU - Svetu CD

The Slovak all-female vocal group Neha! is releasing their long-awaited debut album Svetu today (April 25). Just a few days before its launch, they released the opening track Konopa as a single.

On Svetu, the sextet presents their own renditions of ten traditional songs from around the world. Neha!’s interpretation is rooted primarily in polyphonic singing, skillfully accompanied by the singers’ use of percussion instruments. The album also features guest musicians including Emil “Esso” Smoliga (beatbox), Roman Turtev (cajón), Andy Aquarius (harp), and Juraj Škoda (cello). The album was produced by Anton Popovič.
